When Liverpool travel to West Ham United on Saturday, it will give Georginio Wijnaldum another chance to end a strange streak of scoring in the Premier League.
The Reds midfielder has 18 Premier League goals, but not one has been scored away from home in the competition.
His first goal of the season against Huddersfield Town on Saturday was the Dutchman's seventh goal at Anfield. He netted 11 at St James' Park for Newcastle United.
No other player in Premier League history has racked up as many career home goals without once scoring on the road.
Former Queens Park Rangers and Tottenham Hotspur defender Clive Wilson’s nine is the closest anyone has come to Wijnaldum, while Everton’s Oumar Niasse and Swansea City's Martin Olsson are the only active PL players in the top 10.
This scoring streak has occurred despite the 26-year-old having played exactly the same number of matches home and away (41).
But he has been more of a threat at home, firing 83 shots, compared with only 37 away, suggesting a change of approach at London Stadium could be key to breaking the run this weekend.
