David Wagner says his Huddersfield Town team should not feel daunted by their trip to an in-form Arsenal on Wednesday night and the narrow 2-1 defeat by Manchester City on Sunday should give them confidence at Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners have won 11 consecutive Premier League matches at home while Huddersfield have not scored on the road since their opening-day victory at Crystal Palace.
But when asked if his team would travel south with confidence, Wagner replied: “Not only from the performance from the last game, but with the belief we have going into every game, which is what this group has done so far in the Premier League.
“Everyone is aware of Arsenal’s home record as well as our away record, so it looks like the chances we have aren’t the highest, but tomorrow evening when the game starts this doesn’t count.”
