In the 25 seasons of the Premier League, there have been fantastic displays of skill in every position, but a special group of players hold the accolade of scoring a century of Premier League goals.
As part of the 25-year celebrations of the Premier League, Alan Shearer selected his favourite goal in the competition.
The all-time Premier League top scorer, with 260 goals, chose his stunning volley for Newcastle United against Everton on Sunday 1 December 2002 as his favourite strike.
With the Magpies 1-0 down at home to the Merseyside club, but with a man advantage, Shearer scored one of the greatest Premier League goals at St James' Park.
A Shola Ameobi header dropped kindly to Shearer and he thundered home an equaliser in the 85th minute. Newcastle went on to record a 2-1 victory.
