1999: Oyvind Leonhardsen joins Tottenham Hotspur

Norwegian midfielder Oyvind Leonhardsen swapped Liverpool for Tottenham Hotspur.

He spent three seasons at White Hart Lane, making 54 Premier League appearances and scoring seven goals, before moving on to Aston Villa.

1999: Middlesbrough sign Christian Ziege

Germany international Christian Ziege moved from AC Milan to join Middlesbrough.

He spent a season at the Riverside, making 29 Premier League appearances and scoring six goals, before joining Liverpool.

Ziege would go on to play for Tottenham Hotspur.
