2000: Southampton 3-3 Liverpool
Southampton fought back from 3-0 down in the final 17 minutes to rescue a point against Liverpool.
A Michael Owen brace and a Sami Hyypia header had given the visitors a seemingly unassailable lead.
But Marian Pahars pulled a goal back and, although Liverpool were still leading 3-1 after 84 minutes, Tahar El-Khalej and Pahars struck late on to stun their guests.
Despite Southampton's heroics, they remained in the relegation zone with two points from three matches, while Liverpool moved up to 12th place.
2003: Hernan Crespo joins Chelsea
Chelsea continued their recruitment drive in their first summer under new owner Roman Abramovich, with Hernan Crespo arriving from Inter Milan.
The Argentine striker became the Blues' 11th signing of the transfer window.
Crespo scored 10 goals in 19 PL matches during his debut season and, after spending the 2004/05 season on loan with AC Milan, he struck another 10 times in 30 top-flight appearances for Chelsea in 2005/06.
He returned to Inter Milan on a permanent deal in August 2006.
