Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Germany international Max Meyer.
Meyer has joined the Eagles on a free transfer after agreeing terms on a three-year deal at Selhurst Park.
"I'm proud to be here and I hope I can make the next step in my career," Meyer told Crystal Palace's official website. "I want to give my best and I think we can have a good season - maybe better than the last.
"I played at Selhurst Park last season for Schalke and the atmosphere was perfect, and I can't wait to experience the atmosphere for a Premier League game."
European pedigree
The 22-year-old midfielder came through the academy at Schalke and made 192 appearances for the German side, including three UEFA Champions League campaigns.
He scored 22 goals and provided 24 assists for the Bundesliga club, who finished runners-up in last season's league campaign.
The four-times capped Germany international becomes the Eagles' third summer arrival following Vicente Guaita’s arrival last month and Cheikhou Kouyate’s move from West Ham United last night.
He will wear the No 7 shirt in south London.
