Neil Etheridge (£4.6m) has been one of the bargains of the Fantasy Premier League season and the Cardiff City goalkeeper says his team-mates are also grateful for his heroics.
The Filipino has saved three penalties this season to help him to a points total beaten only by Liverpool's Alisson (£5.9m) among goalkeepers heading into Gameweek 22.
Etheridge says that after his last-minute penalty save to earn a 0-0 draw and 16 Fantasy points against Newcastle United in Gameweek 2, his team-mate Callum Paterson (£5.1m) was quick to remind his goalkeeper of his FPL impact.
"There's a picture of me and him, I remember, he'd come up to me and gave me this massive hug and he's whispered in my ear, 'Yeah, Fantasy points!' " Etheridge recalls.
However, Etheridge has not had so much joy from being in his own FPL squad and admits he left himself on the bench for the Newcastle match.
"I took myself out for Newcastle at home," he says. "And I haven't put myself back in the team since."
