Middlesbrough and West Bromwich Albion shared the points in a lively 1-1 draw at the Riverside Stadium.
Scotland international James Morrison fired the visitors in front after just six minutes with a low strike from the edge of the penalty area after Darren Fletcher’s free-kick.
Just 11 minutes later, Gareth McAuley brought down Alvaro Negredo in the penalty area, and the Spaniard calmly rolled in the penalty to equalise.
West Brom pushed for a winner after the break, with Matt Phillips, Hal Robson-Kanu and Chris Brunt all being denied by a resolute Boro defence.
