Marcus Rashford scored the only goal as Manchester United ended the season with victory over Watford at Old Trafford.
There was a guard of honour at the start of the match for Michael Carrick, on his final Premier League appearance, and the 36-year-old orchestrated his side's goal.
Carrick picked out Juan Mata with a 40-yard pass and the Spaniard squared the ball for Rashford to score his seventh PL goal of the season, rolling into an empty net on 34 minutes.
Watford's Gerard Deulofeu came close on the stroke of half-time and Richarlison’s header was well saved by Sergio Romero, starting in place of Golden Glove winner David De Gea.
Despite the best efforts of Roberto Pereyra, who shot wide, and Abdoulaye Doucoure, whose header was saved late on, United held on.
Their 25th win of the campaign leaves United second with 81 points. Watford finish 14th with 41.
