    Match summary

Manchester United came from two goals behind to earn a 2-2 draw with Southampton at St Mary's Stadium.

Saints opened the scoring after 13 minutes when Stuart Armstrong netted his third goal in two Premier League matches with a low drive.

Mark Hughes's side doubled their lead thanks to a wonderful 20-yard free-kick by Cedric Soares, his first-ever PL goal.

Romelu Lukaku gave Man Utd a lifeline on 33 minutes with his first PL goal in 13 matches.

Six minutes later, Jose Mourinho's men were level. Marcus Rashford cut a low ball across the six-yard box and Ander Herrera smartly flicked it past Alex McCarthy.

United remain in seventh place on 22 points. Southampton move above Burnley into 18th place with nine points.
