Nathaniel Mendez-Laing’s brace helped Cardiff City end their season on a high with a 2-0 win at Manchester United.
Cardiff took the lead in the 23rd minute from the penalty spot after Diogo Dalot had fouled Mendez-Laing.
The midfielder stepped up to send David De Gea the wrong way.
The Bluebirds extended their lead nine minutes into the second half, with Josh Murphy squaring for Mendez-Laing to tap in his second.
Marcus Rashford had a header well saved by Neil Etheridge, but the home side were unable to make a breakthrough.
A fifth match without a win means United finish sixth on 66 points, while already-relegated Cardiff's fourth away win and first in the league at Old Trafford since 1954 gives them 34 points in 18th.
