Danny Loader scored two goals as Reading twice came from behind to beat 10-man Aston Villa 3-2 to go top of Premier League 2 Division 2.
After a goalless first half, Jacob Ramsey put Villa in front on 65 minutes when he finished from eight yards, but Reading were level two minutes later through Michael Olise.
The visitors went back ahead in the 71st minute, when Coniah Boyce-Clarke slipped and Cameron Archer capitalised to score.
Following Colin Odutayo's sending-off, Loader equalised with three minutes remaining, firing in his first into the bottom corner.
Then in stoppage time, Loader headed in a cross from Olise to secure the win.
Reading are top on 40 points, one ahead of Southampton having played a match more, while Villa are fifth on 36 points.
