Jordan Ayew's second goal in as many Premier League matches gave Crystal Palace a 1-0 home victory over 10-man Aston Villa.
Palace had the better of the first-half chances, with James McArthur and Luka Milivojevic both testing Tom Heaton.
Villa's Trezeguet was sent off nine minutes after half-time for a second bookable offence.
Palace took advantage as Ayew cut in from the left-hand side to bend the ball past Heaton and score against his former side with 17 minutes to play.
Villa thought they had a claimed a stoppage-time equaliser through Henri Lansbury but referee Kevin Friend ruled it out to book Jack Grealish for simulation in the build-up.
The win moves Crystal Palace up to fourth place with seven points.
Aston Villa are 18th with three points from four matches.
