Brighton & Hove Albion moved nine points clear of the bottom three with a 1-0 victory at Norwich City.
The Seagulls sent an early warning when Aaron Connolly fired over from Aaron Mooy’s cross in the third minute.
Mooy then provided the assist for Leandro Trossard, who produced a first-time finish for his fourth goal of the season, as Brighton took a 25th-minute lead.
Dan Burn headed wide shortly after half-time as the visitors sought to add to their lead.
After Norwich brought on Adam Idah, Todd Cantwell and Teemu Pukki from the bench, Idah narrowly missed out on an equaliser as his glancing header hit the post.
Brighton’s first away league win since December moves them on to 36 points. They stay 15th.
A fifth successive defeat leaves the Canaries bottom of the table on 21 points.
