Max Kilman and Raul Jimenez were on target as Wolverhampton Wanderers beat Everton 2-1, extending an unbeaten run to five matches and moving up to seventh in the table.
Wolves started brightly, with Hwang Hee-chan having a goal overturned by the Video Assistant Referee for offside before Kilman powered a 28th-minute header past Jordan Pickford to score his first goal for the club.
Wolves doubled their lead four minutes later, with Jimenez capitalising on an underhit Ben Godfrey backpass and dinking the ball over Pickford.
Everton gained a foothold after the interval and Alex Iwobi reacted quickest to a loose ball in the penalty area to halve the deficit with 24 minutes to play.
Substitute Anthony Gordon nearly equalised at the end, but Jose Sa brilliantly saved his header.
Wolves have now taken 13 points from a possible 15 and move above their visitors with a total of 16 points.
That is two more than 10th-placed Everton, who have lost three straight matches.
