Southampton climbed out of the relegation zone with a 2-0 victory over Fulham at St Mary's Stadium.
Oriol Romeu opened the scoring on 23 minutes with a shot through a crowded penalty area following a corner kick.
James Ward-Prowse reacted quickest after Sergio Rico had denied Nathan Redmond to double the advantage five minutes before half-time.
Fulham's Aleksandar Mitrovic fired over within 30 seconds of half-time before team-mate Ryan Babel hit the crossbar with 16 minutes to play.
The result means the Saints are now 17th with 27 points, 10 points and two places ahead of Fulham.
