In Double Gameweek 24, Liverpool and Everton play TWICE and the new Assistant Manager chip becomes available to play for the first time! There is now also a CONFIRMED Double Gameweek 25 for a minimum of two clubs. Here, The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts reveal when they plan to use their chips over the rest of the season.

I haven't ruled out playing the new Assistant Manager chip in Double Gameweek 24 (DGW24), with Arne Slot (£1.5m) in my thoughts for Liverpool's pair of fixtures, especially with him having the potential for back-to-back Doubles depending on the outcome of the EFL Cup semi-finals. However, I already have three Liverpool assets, so I would need to sell one and find £1.5m to bring in the Liverpool boss.
I usually like to play the Wildcard and Bench Boost chips around the Double Gameweeks to maximise how effective they can be. With minimal information on that front though, I'll be waiting to see how the rest of the season pans out. After DGW24, we will have a much clearer understanding of the FA Cup and who is likely to blank and double later, and we will have confirmation of who blanks in Gameweek 29.

Back-to-back Double Gameweeks provide too good an opportunity not to use the Assistant Manager chip, so I will back David Moyes (£0.5m) in DGW24 and will then switch to Unai Emery (£0.8m) or Marco Silva (£1.1m), depending on which of them gets the DGW25. That gives me four home games in a row and two opportunities for a table bonus across DGW24 and DGW25. I’m undecided regarding which Assistant Manager I'll own in Gameweek 26, but I will likely try to take advantage of table bonus once again.
Using transfers on Assistant Managers means a Free Hit is likely in BGW29, which allows me to then save the Wildcard and Bench Boost for more likely Double Gameweeks later in the season.

I've already used my Triple Captain chip and have three Liverpool players in my squad ahead of the Liverpool's DGW24.
The announcement of Double Gameweek 25 (DGW25) also means that I am now planning to bring forward my decision to play the Assistant Manager chip. Back-to-back Doubles and the potential for five fixtures in three Gameweeks is too good to turn down. My strategy now is to use the Assistant Manager chip across Gameweeks 24-26, but the rest of my strategy will likely remain unchanged.
I plan to Wildcard in Gameweek 30, having dead-ended my team for the blank in Gameweek 29, depending on how many players I have without a fixture in Gameweek 29 because of the EFL Cup final taking place on the same weekend.
I'll then Bench-Boost in either Gameweek 33 or 36, and will likely Free-Hit in Gameweek 34, but depending on the FA Cup results and subsequent draw, I may bring that forward and play it in Gameweek 29.
