Arsene Wenger OBE, one of the greatest managers in Premier League history, will be the latest recipient of the Legends of Football award at the annual event in aid of music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins.
The former Arsenal manager claimed three Premier League titles, as well as seven FA Cups - the most of any manager - and was voted Manager of the Year in 1998, 2002 and 2004.
His 2003/04 Arsenal team created history by going the whole season unbeaten, becoming the "Invincibles".
On 7 October, Wenger will join Sir Stanley Matthews, Sir Bobby Robson, Sir Kenny Dalglish and last year's recipient Frank Lampard OBE in being honoured.
"Since leaving Arsenal I have received some interesting proposals some of which I am currently contemplating.
"However, one invitation that I did not hesitate to accept, and I am extremely honoured to do so, is to receive the 2019 Legends of Football award.
'Fantastic charity'
"I have always enjoyed music and I am excited to be involved in the work Legends of Football does to support Nordoff Robbins, which is a fantastic charity.
"Music therapy can change people’s lives, across a broad spectrum of disabilities, and I will help in any way I can. I look forward to celebrating at the Legends of Football event on 7 October."
The dinner is supported by the Premier League and has raised £8million since its inaugural event in 1996.
"Legends of Football is a great event that brings football and music together to support the vital work of Nordoff Robbins," Richard Masters, Premier League Interim Chief Executive, said.
"We look forward to celebrating the career and achievements of Arsene Wenger, one of the Premier League’s most successful and iconic managers.
"His ground-breaking coaching and player development methods transformed the English game and I congratulate him on this well-deserved award."
