Manchester United came out on top in their derby duel with Manchester City in the ePremier League PlayStation quarter-finals, with Marcus Rashford scoring the only goal.

In a tight two-legged tie, Kyle Leese (KyleLeese_) edged the first match 1-0 thanks to Rashford's strike, then held his nerve against City’s Kai Wollin (Deto) in a tense, goalless second leg, with both players hitting the post.

"It’s amazing," Leese said. "Deto’s a great player. It only took one goal. I defended for my life.

“I knew he was going to play wing play so I tried to cut it, and I did successfully.”

Kyle will face Southampton’s Owen Venn (Venny) in the semi-finals, who eased past Cardiff City’s Luke Mcilwee-Davies (LukasMcilwee), winning 3-1.

“Venny’s a great player,” he says. "I’m going to have to go into it and play my game and hopefully pull off a result."

Asked whether he might be able to face Josh Jones (Jonesy17FIFA), United's Xbox player in the Grand Final, Leese said: "I hope so. Jonesy will get to the final. I just hope I can.”

The derby between Chelsea and Arsenal was also dramatic.

Arsenal’s Curtis Poole (Paps) battled back after losing the first leg 2-0 to take a 3-2 aggregate lead.

But Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang equalised for Chelsea’s Jas Singh (Jas1875), before scoring an extra-time winner.

In the semi-finals, Singh will face Crystal Palace’s Damian Augustyniak (damie), who beat Huddersfield Town’s Jordan Croft (Croftyboy925) 4-1.
