Chelsea’s Jas Singh (Jas1875) eliminated the top seed to reach the PlayStation final of the ePremier League, setting up a mouthwatering clash with Manchester United’s Kyle Leese (KyleLeese_).

Singh, the No 2 seed, established an early 2-0 lead against Crystal Palace’s Damian Augustyniak (damie), but conceded a goal and then missed a penalty.

He recovered quickly from those setbacks to win 4-2.

"I deserved to win," said Singh. "I missed a penalty in the first leg, right at the end, but I’ve learned from my mistakes from previous events."

Singh was denied a final showdown with his good friend Owen Venn (Venny) as Southampton’s representative was beaten 2-1 by Leese.

Venn won the first leg 1-0 but was knocked out after losing the second 2-0. He had a late chance to level the scores from the penalty spot, but saw his kick saved.

“I’m still shaking, the emotion’s unreal,” said Leese. "I’ve exceeded my own expectations. Hopefully I can win it.

"I’d expect goals [in the final]. Jas is a very good player. I’ve never played him in an event so it will be interesting."
