Danny Ings struck a hat-trick as Liverpool beat Ipswich Town 3-0 in their Premier League Cup Group G opener at Portman Road.
The Liverpool striker got his first in the third minute and scored two more late on to make it six goals in five appearances for Liverpool's Premier League 2 side this season.
Both he and Mamadou Sakho played the full 90 minutes as they stepped up their returns to full fitness.

Liverpool's next match in the competition is against Huddersfield Town on 5 November while Ipswich host West Bromwich Albion the night before.
