AFC Bournemouth v Hull City

AFC Bournemouth achieved their biggest victory in the Premier League with a 6-1 win over Hull City.

The visiting side were unbeaten on their last two league matches at the Vitality Stadium, but Mike Phelan, fresh from signing a one-year contract to become permanent head coach this week, could not mastermind a positive result.

AFC Bournemouth defender Charlie Daniels opened the scoring before Ryan Mason equalised for Hull with a deflected shot.

Daniels' defensive colleague Steve Cook restored the home side's lead with a towering header before Stanislas extended it with a penalty on the stroke of half-time.

Stanislas appeared unmarked in the area to score on 65 minutes, while Callum Wilson netted with seven minutes remaining.

Dan Gosling completed an impressive afternoon for AFC Bournemouth, scoring from the edge of the area on 88 minutes.
