1. General
The opening time and date of the prize draw is 14th October 2016 at 00:01 GMT, and the closing date and time for receipt of entries is 28th April 2017 at 23:59 GMT. Entries submitted after this time will not be considered.
2. Restrictions
This prize draw is open to UK residents aged sixteen (16) and over. Entrants under eighteen (18) will require parental/guardian consent. Employees (and members of their immediate family) of “Electronic Arts” (“EA”) (“Promoter”), their agents and anyone connected to this competition are not eligible to enter. Subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
3. Rules to participate
No purchase of any goods or services is necessary to be eligible for entry into this prize draw.
To enter the prize draw you must have or must create a Fantasy Premier League team on premierleague.com and enter your team into the 'Official EA SPORTS FIFA 17' Sponsored League.
The prize giveaway will occur after the last full game week of each month. All Fantasy Premier League players who participate in the 'Official EA SPORTS FIFA 17' Sponsored League will be automatically entered into the draw each month to win PL match tickets. Winners will be selected at random.
Each entrant will only be eligible to win one (1) set of match tickets throughout the prize draw period.
The prize draw will be conducted by EA SPORTS editorial team. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
4. Prize(s)
From October 14th, 2016 - April 28th, 2017 there will be four (4) prize winners each month:
Prize one (1) - Two Premier League match tickets (Open to UK residents only)
Prize two (2) - Two Premier League match tickets (Open to UK residents only)
Prize three (3) - Two Premier League match tickets (Open to UK residents only)
Prize four (4) - Two Premier League match tickets (Open to UK residents only)
The winner(s) of the match tickets will be invited to watch a home game of the Premier League team that they have indicated they support when signing up for Fantasy Premier League on premierleague.com.
EA SPORTS will be responsible for choosing the Premier League fixture of the indicated home team in which the winner(s) will attend. Tickets are strictly for home fans only. If for any reason the winners are unable to attend the selected fixture then the match tickets are non-transferable. Please note that the unauthorised sale of the prize tickets is a criminal offence under English law.
The winner(s) of the Premier League match tickets will be responsible for their own travel costs and any additional expenses incurred.
Any winner(s) aged sixteen (16) or seventeen (17) who win match tickets will need to be accompanied by their parent/guardian. The parent/guardian will need to be the second ticket holder of the two (2) ticket prize.
The prize tickets are issued subject to the relevant Club’s Terms and Conditions of Entry (which are available from the relevant Club). The use of the ticket to enter the Club’s stadium constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Entry.
All prize winners will receive their prizes via Royal Mail Recorded delivery and prize winners will be required to provide EA with a suitable contact name & address to send the prize to.
There are no alternatives to these prizes. They are as stated and are non-transferable. If due to circumstances beyond the control of EA, EA is unable to provide the stated prizes, EA reserves the right to award substitute prizes of equal value. All prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier. Any taxes due on the prize will be paid by the winner(s).
5. Results
The winner(s) will be contacted by email at the end of each month once the final game week has closed.
If the winner of the prize cannot be traced after reasonable efforts have been made by EA, EA will be entitled to select alternative winner from among the entrants.
A full list of winners will be available for four (4) weeks following the day of the selection of winners. This list can be obtained by writing to Official EA SPORTS FIFA 17 FPL League, Electronic Arts, Onslow House, Onslow Street, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 4TN.
If proof of age and/or parental consent is requested, and if satisfactory proof of age and/or parental consent is not received, EA reserves the rights to choose another winner.
6. General Conditions
Any entry, which does not comply with the rules, may be deemed invalid at the sole discretion of EA. EA is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, misdirected entries, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incorrect, garbled, delayed electronic or other communications or other technical problems related to mobile entries. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of delivery.
Any participant who enters or attempts to enter the prize draw in a manner, which in the Promoter's determination is contrary to these rules or by its nature is fraudulent or unjust to other entrants including without limitation tampering with the operation of the competition, cheating, hacking, deception or any other unfair playing practices such as intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Promoter and/or any of its agents or representatives, or who submits an illegible or incomplete entry may be rejected from the prize draw at Promoter’s sole discretion.
Entrants agree that their names and/or likeness may be used to announce the winner via Twitter, Premierleague.com, on EA websites and be included on the winners list as mentioned in section 5 above. Entrants may be required to take part in publicity without further consent or payment. Such publicity may include their names and/or likeness.
7. Data protection
In order to participate in the prize draw participants must provide certain information on themselves. This personal information is collected and processed only for the purposes of organising, running and monitoring the campaign, as well as for carrying out publicity activities on it. The organising entity shall be considered the data controller for the database containing this personal information and provides for an appropriate data protection level.
Personal information includes name, address, email address and birthday.
Entrants have the right to access, withdraw, and correct their personal data. Entrants may request such action by sending a message with the request; subject line Official EA SPORTS FIFA 17 FPL League to onslowreception@ea.com
By entering this prize draw, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material. Promoter reserves the right to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the competition in whole or in part, at its sole discretion, if it believes the competition is not capable of being conducted as specified in these rules or in the event of a virus, a computer bug or unauthorised human intervention or any other cause that is beyond reasonable control of Promoter that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal course of the prize draw.
The Promoter of this prize draw is EA Swiss Sàrl, Place du Molard 8, Geneva 1204, Switzerland.
This prize draw is governed by and is in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
This competition and prize draw has not been created by or on behalf of the Football Association Premier League Limited ("Premier League") and is not run by the Premier League. The Premier League is therefore not a party to, and shall have no obligations to participants by virtue of, these Terms and Conditions.
