Goals from Fraser Hornby and Bassala Sambou helped Everton to a 2-0 win against Swansea City to secure their place in the Premier League Cup final.
The Toffees took the lead after 14 minutes, with Hornby volleying Anthony Gordon’s free-kick into the bottom corner.
Swansea responded well, with Liam Cullen forcing a save from Joao Virginia, while at the other end, Gregor Zabret made a double stop to deny Gordon and Ryan Astley.
Everton doubled their lead in the 75th minute when substitute Matthew Foulds' shot was parried by Zabret into the path of Sambou, pictured above.
The Toffees will face Newcastle United in the final, after the Magpies beat Leeds United 3-0.
