Morgan Gibbs-White will be looking to continue his dream season when he represents England in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship starting on 16 June.
The 19-year-old Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder, who was part of England's Under-17 World Cup-winning team of 2017, has been selected for the England Under-21s for the first time after earning 26 Premier League appearances this term.
Gibbs-White made his Premier League debut on the opening weekend of 2018/19 as a substitute in a draw with Everton and was a key figure as Wolves finished seventh, the best by a promoted club since 2001, and qualified for the UEFA Europa League.
The Wolves Academy graduate came on for Joao Moutinho for his PL debut and feels that playing alongside the Portugal midfielder, as well as Ruben Neves, has helped him to develop.
"To come on for a player that's had so much experience and is such a good technical player, and for him to say, 'Good luck,' was a massive thing for me," said Gibbs-White as he received his Premier League Debut Ball.
"To play with those sort of players, it boosts you as a player because you want to be like them, you want to perform like them and you want to, if anything, be better than them."
