Ahead of the 2019/20 season, we look at the new things to keep an eye out for in the Premier League.

The International Football Association Board (IFAB) has updated the Laws of the Game, and we are examining what has changed.

Kick-offs

Winning the coin toss before the start of a match previously meant choosing which goal to attack.

But from the start of the 2019/20 Premier League season, captains will have the option of taking the kick-off instead, offering an interesting dilemma for the respective skippers.

The fastest goal in Premier League history was scored by Southampton's Shane Long in just 7.69 seconds after Watford had kicked off their match in April 2019.
