Norwich City have completed the signing of German goalkeeper Ralf Fahrmann on a season-long loan from FC Schalke.
The 30-year-old will provide competition for the Canaries' No 1 'keeper last season Tim Krul.
"I'm really glad and proud to sign here," Fahrmann told Norwich's official website. "To be a part of the Premier League, I think it's a wonderful thing for all, not only for me but also for the fans and supporters of Norwich City.
"There were a few clubs who showed interest in me but Norwich gave me a very familiar feeling and that was the reason why the decision was easy for me."

Fahrmann joined Schalke at the age of 15 and made 178 Bundesliga appearances for the club after making his first-team debut in 2008.
The former Germany Under-21 international spent two years on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt before returning to the Gelsenkirchen club and going on to captain the side.
Fahrmann is Norwich's third senior summer signing after the arrivals of Patrick Roberts and Josip Drmic.
The Canaries open their Premier League campaign with a trip to Liverpool on 9 August.
