2004: Newcastle United 1-3 Manchester United

A Wayne Rooney double in Manchester United's 3-1 win over Newcastle United secured their second away success of the season.

The striker opened the scoring after seven minutes before Alan Shearer brought Newcastle level in the second half. 

But Ruud van Nistelrooy scored from the penalty spot after Shay Given fouled Paul Scholes, before Rooney slotted home from close range to seal it.

The result left United in seventh with 21 points, 11 points off league leaders Chelsea. Defeat for Newcastle saw them drop to 10th, on 16 points.

2010: Chelsea 0-3 Sunderland

Premier League leaders Chelsea suffered a resounding defeat by Sunderland at Stamford Bridge. 

Nedum Onuoha opened the scoring in style as he skipped past three defenders before rolling the ball past Petr Cech. 

Goals from Asamoah Gyan and Danny Welbeck secured a memorable win for Sunderland, making it three PL matches unbeaten. 

Chelsea stayed top on 28 points, with Arsenal two points behind, while Sunderland moved up to sixth on 19 points.
