Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced the season-long loan signing of Jesus Vallejo from Real Madrid.

The 22-year-old centre-back is Wolves' third senior recruit of the summer after the club exercised options to sign Raul Jimenez and Leander Dendoncker on permanent deals.

Vallejo joined Real Madrid from Real Zaragoza in 2015.

This summer he captained the Spain side who won the UEFA Under-21 European Championship.

Vallejo will hope to make his Premier League debut when Wolves begin their 2019/20 campaign at Leicester City on Sunday 11 August.
