With his winner at Newcastle United on Sunday, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang confirmed his place as one of the Premier League's most lethal strikers, as well as beating an Arsenal legend to a goal mark.
The match at St James' Park was Aubameyang's 50th in the Premier League and his decisive strike was his 33rd in the competition.
Only five other players have scored more in their first 50 Premier League matches.
Alan Shearer and Andrew Cole lead the way in this ranking, having scored 41 times in their first 50 Premier League appearances.
They are a long way ahead of Mohamed Salah, who scored 35 goals, and Kevin Phillips, with 34.
Aubameyang's total of 33 goals matches that of Fernando Torres for Liverpool at the same point.

"As a striker of course it’s in the mind," Aubameyang told Arsenal's official website about the award. "But first of all, as I’ve always said, the most important is the team.
"I’m really happy that the goal could help us to win the game."
