Everton have announced the signing of Djibril Sidibe on loan from Monaco.
The 27-year-old right-back moves to Goodison Park for the 2019/20 season with Everton having the option to buy.
The FIFA 2018 World Cup winner with France is Everton’s sixth signing of the summer after Jonas Lossl, Andre Gomes, Fabian Delph, Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Moise Kean.
“Everton are recruiting with the intent to win trophies and play on the biggest stage,” Sidibe told evertontv.
“I am 100 per cent motivated and ready to help the club achieve its goals and to achieve my own individual goals.”
Everton manager Marco Silva added: “It is important to have different options in each position and with Djibril and Seamus [Coleman] we now have two high-quality right-backs.”
