Substitute Thomas Allan scored twice as Newcastle United defeated Fulham 2-1 to claim their first win of the PL2 Division 2 campaign.
Visitors Newcastle fell behind after 21 minutes at Motspur Park, with Martell Taylor-Crossdale squaring for Sonny Hilton to tap in.
But the match turned when Fulham's Jerome Opoku was sent off a minute before half-time following two yellow cards.
Forward Allan came on for midfielder Jack Young at the interval and he made it 1-1 from the penalty spot six minutes into the second half.
Fulham midfielder Ryan De Havilland then hit the crossbar with a spot-kick of his own and Newcastle made them pay.
Yannick Toure played in Allan to score his second goal and secure a victory that takes the Magpies above local rivals Sunderland and off the foot of the table.
Fulham are one place above on goal difference in 10th.
