After Liverpool’s recent EFL Cup victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield, Daniel Sturridge gave an unforgettable experience for two young fans.
Owen Houlihan told the story, via Twitter Moment, of how his two sons asked the Liverpool striker for an autograph in the car park after the match.
Not only did Sturridge oblige, but he went a lot further, calling them over to his car, where he gave them signed Liverpool shirts from the night.
And it did not stop there. Sturridge jogged over to the Houlihans' car and asked to take a picture, tagging one of the boys, Ciaran, on Instagram.
“Mr Sturridge was an absolute star and a gentleman,” Owen tweeted.
