Robbie McKenzie gave Hull City their first win in this season's Premier League Cup, as they beat Derby County 1-0 at the iPro Stadium.
McKenzie converted a right wing cross from Johan Ter Horst as the Tigers bounced back from losing to Colchester United in their opening Group C tie.
Goallkeeper Allan McGregor and defender Brian Lenihan continued their comebacks from injury for Hull, who hit the post in the second half with a deflected shot from Jonathan Edwards.
