Four men were nominated for the first Barclays Manager of the Month award for 2019/20.
Users helped decide who won by voting for their favourite and their votes were then combined with those of a panel of football experts to decide the winner.

Seeking an eighth monthly award victory, the Barclays Manager of the Season for the past two campaigns oversaw an unbeaten start to Manchester City’s title defence. His champions won three matches and scored 14 goals while conceding only three.
Roy Hodgson (CRY)

At 72 years the oldest manager in PL history continues to prove that age is no barrier as he led Crystal Palace to their first Premier League win over Manchester United with a 2-1 triumph at Old Trafford. His side also kept two clean sheets to earn the best defensive record in August and claim fourth place.

Liverpool's Klopp was the only manager to enjoy a perfect record in August, including a 3-1 victory over Arsenal and a 3-0 success at Burnley that set a club-record 13th Premier League win in succession.
Brendan Rodgers (LEI)

Rodgers’ unbeaten Leicester City followed up a 1-1 comeback draw at Stamford Bridge with successive victories over Sheffield United and AFC Bournemouth to finish August in third place.
