The captaincy potential of Sergio Aguero (£12.1m) has been boosted further for Gameweek 5 of Fantasy Premier League.

Manchester City's frontman has started the season superbly, scoring six goals and providing an assist in his first four matches.

And he can add to that output against an injury-hit Norwich City backline on Saturday evening.

Defensive worries

The Canaries are missing a number of their first-choice defenders, while goalkeeper Tim Krul (£4.5m) is also a doubt.

Furthermore, Daniel Farke's team will be without defensive midfield duo Tom Trybull (£4.5m) and Moritz Leitner (£4.5m).

Aguero is the top-scoring player in the game with 40 points.

But he has yet to be selected as the favourite armband choice in any Gameweek.

Aguero form to continue?

He was the fifth-top captain pick for his Gameweek 3 trip to AFC Bournemouth and produced 13 points.

Aguero was the third-top armband favourite at home to Brighton & Hove Albion in Gameweek 4, going on to deliver 16 points.

He now looks poised to take advantage of Norwich's injuries and produce yet another big haul.

Both Raheem Sterling (£12.3m) and Kevin De Bruyne (£9.8m) can also supply big points at Carrow Road.

Sterling has 28 points in his two away appearances, while De Bruyne has delivered two double-digit returns in the last three Gameweeks.
