Morris on the spot for Middlesbrough

Bryn Morris scored a late penalty as Middlesbrough beat Charlton Athletic 1-0 to earn their first points in the Premier League Cup.

The only goal came after a handball in the box from a free-kick in the 82nd minute in the Group F match at Bootham Crescent.

Boro move level on three points with Fulham, who play AFC Wimbledon on Sunday 13 November.

Charlton's final match is against Fulham on 5 December.
