Eddie Howe is hopeful that Andrew Surman and Callum Wilson can return from injury for AFC Bournemouth against Stoke City, but is wary of rushing the pair back too soon.

"The players are back, Wilson & Surman have made good progress," Howe told afcb.co.uk. "I have to be mindful of hamstring injuries, I'll make a late call."

The Cherries will definitely be without defender Adam Smith at the bet365 Stadium on Saturday due to suspension, with Nathan Ake in line to deputise.
