Danny Loader scored a hat-trick for Reading in a thrilling 3-3 draw with Aston Villa in Premier League 2 Division 2.
Villa took an 18th-minute lead at Adams Park through Jacob Ramsey, before Loader levelled with his first penalty of the evening on the half-hour mark.
Cameron Archer put Villa back ahead just before the break, but the Royals equalised again on 57 minutes as Loader finished from a Ben House pass.
Reading went in front for the first time as Loader completed his treble with another spot-kick, which he won himself.
But, with three minutes left, Ramsey squared for Villa substitute Dimitri Sea, who drilled in from close range to earn his side a share of the spoils.
Villa remain sixth with 12 points. Reading move up to seventh with 10 points.
