Second-half strikes from George Thomas and George Hirst gave Leicester City a third successive Premier League 2 Division 1 win as they beat Manchester City 2-0.

Visitors Leicester had two goals disallowed in the first half for offside against Hirst and then October PL2 Player of the Month nominee Callum Wright.

The breakthrough came on 77 minutes when Foxes captain Thomas turned in a cross from Josh Eppiah.

Four minutes into stoppage time Eppiah was again the provider as he played in Hirst to score from close range and move Leicester into fourth, five points behind leaders Derby County whom they face next.

Man City remain bottom with six points.
