Taylor Richards scored two goals and set up another as Brighton & Hove Albion won 4-1 win at 10-man Southampton in Premier League 2 Division 1.
The Seagulls went ahead on 16 minutes at Staplewood when defender Alex Cochrane struck past Jack Bycroft after being played in by Peter Gwargis.
Richards played a clever pass for Danny Cashman to make it 2-0 but the hosts halved the deficit three minutes before the break through Kornelius Hansen.
Southampton's hopes of a fightback were hit, however, when captain Calum Slattery was sent off on 54 minutes for a dangerous tackle on Gwargis.
And Brighton capitalised with Richards scoring netting a stoppage-time brace to lift Brighton to fifth with a third win in four matches.
Saints remain second from bottom, on seven points, after a third successive loss.
