Two second-half goals, including a spectacular strike, from Layton Ndukwu gave Leicester City their first victory in the Premier League International Cup, beating Liverpool 2-1.
Harry Wilson’s header had given Liverpool a half-time lead at St George’s Park but Layton Ndukwu turned the group C match with two strikes, the second an effort from near to the halfway line.
Neither side can qualify for the quarter-finals with Wolfsburg (six points) facing Porto (four points) on 14 December for the right to win the group.

A consolation for Liverpool was the returns of Sheyi Ojo and Joe Gomez, who continued their comebacks from injuries.
