Liverpool scored in the 88th minute and deep into stoppage time to earn a dramatic 3-2 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the Premier League International Cup.

Jack Bearne, pictured, had given the Reds an early lead before their French opponents went 2-1 up with goals from Alexandre Fressange and Loic Mbe Soh.

But super substitutes Tom Hill and Yasser Larouci saved the day.

Seventeen-year-old Hill guided in Tony Gallacher's cross before in the dying seconds Larouci, 18, found the bottom corner to clinch victory for Liverpool in their first Group E match.

Elsewhere, Anthony Evans netted a brace but it was not enough for Everton, who fell to a 3-2 loss to 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 winners Porto.

David Unsworth's Toffees are bottom of Group D but have a chance to qualify for the knockout stage if they beat top-of-the-table Swansea City in their final match.

And in Group C, John Buckley struck twice and Harry Chapman got a goal and an assist as Blackburn Rovers won 3-2 at Newcastle United

It means Newcastle finish second and miss out on the quarter-finals due to runners-up in other groups having superior records. Blackburn finish bottom.
