The starting date of the Premier League's 2020/21 season has been confirmed as 12 September 2020.

The 29th campaign of the competition had been scheduled to start on 8 August 2020, before the conclusion of the 2019/20 campaign was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The final match round of the 2020/21 campaign will take place on 23 May 2021.
The Premier League will continue to consult The FA and EFL regarding the scheduling of all domestic competitions.
