Peter Gwargis struck twice as Brighton & Hove Albion overcame an early setback to triumph 4-1 at Derby County and maintain their title bid in Premier League 2 Division 1.
With the fourth-placed Rams hosting the third-placed Seagulls, Jahmal Hector-Ingram put the home side ahead in just the fifth minute.
But Gwargis struck twice and Teddy Jenks made it 3-1 in the space of 16 first-half minutes, while Taylor Richards increased the margin of victory in the second half.
Brighton's third successive win takes them four points ahead of Derby and four behind leaders Chelsea, although the Blues have a match in hand.
Derby have now suffered three straight defeats.
