Luke McCormick's late penalty helped unbeaten leaders Chelsea defeat Everton 1-0 in Premier League 2 Division 1.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who is continuing his comeback from a ruptured achilles tendon, went close for Chelsea as the home side had 17 shots in an impressive display.
The decisive moment came in the 83rd minute when Beni Baningime fouled Loftus-Cheek and McCormick converted from 12 yards.
A second successive win means Chelsea now have 38 points and maintain their three-point gap over second-placed Leicester City with four matches remaining.
Everton stay seventh on 22 points.
