On this day eight years ago one of the best wingers of recent times moved to the Premier League with Chelsea.
A 21-year-old Eden Hazard joined from French club Lille and went on to dazzle for the Blues, lifting two PL Trophies, as well as winning the FA Cup, EFL Cup and UEFA Europa League, twice.
The Belgian was named the 2014/15 Premier League Player of the Season and won the Cadbury Playmaker award in his final season at Stamford Bridge before departing for Real Madrid a year ago.
You can watch Hazard's best moments in the video above and find out what else happened on this day by going to the Premier League's new history section.
There you can also find retro club kits dating back to the competition's inaugural campaign and many other historical features, including past awards winners and reviews of every season.
