The Scout is tipping five players to produce big points in Gameweek 30+ of Fantasy Premier League.
Sergio Aguero (MCI) £11.8m
A pair of Gameweek 30+ home matches against Arsenal and Burnley raise the Argentinian’s captaincy potential in FPL this week.
Aguero is Manchester City's top scorer at the Etihad Stadium this season, finding the net eight times at home in 2019/20.
When selected, he has been involved in 44 per cent of their home goals, joint-top with Kevin De Bruyne (£10.6m).
The underlying statistics further highlight Aguero’s major goal threat for Pep Guardiola’s side.
His 35 shots inside the penalty area in home matches are more than any other Man City player.
Furthermore, his average of 97.3 minutes per goal at their stadium is also a team-leading total.
Best home goal ratios
Player | Goals | Mins/goal |
---|---|---|
Sergio Aguero | 8 | 97.3 |
Bernardo Silva | 4 | 191.5 |
Gabriel Jesus | 3 | 192.3 |
Kevin De Bruyne | 5 | 206.6 |
Riyad Mahrez | 3 | 217.0 |
Aguero also has a hugely impressive record when playing against each of his upcoming opponents at the Etihad Stadium.
He has scored five goals in his last three Premier League home outings against Arsenal, including a hat-trick in a 3-1 win last season.
And he has found the net in every home appearance versus Burnley, scoring six goals in five appearances across all competitions.
Guardiola’s tendency to rotate means he seems likely to change his line-ups over Man City’s Gameweek 30+ double header.
Effective when arriving late
But even when he has featured off the bench this season, Aguero has still made an impact.
He has scored two goals as a substitute, more than any team-mate.
Combined with his prolific home form, that makes Aguero one of the top contenders for the captaincy in Gameweek 30+.
