The Scout reveals the prices of select players ahead of the launch of the 2020/21 Fantasy Premier League game.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (ARS) £12.0m
His new position as a midfielder in FPL will have a huge impact on the upcoming campaign.
Aubameyang played as a left winger under both Unai Emery and Mikel Arteta last season.
Because of that role for Arsenal, he has been reclassified as a forward in FPL, and in doing so earns a price rise of £1.0m.
Having scored 22 goals in each of the last two campaigns, Aubameyang will add to the wealth of premium midfield options.
Sadio Mane (LIV) £12.0m
The Liverpool winger was among the five FPL midfielders to produce double-figures for both goals and assists last term, with 18 and 10 respectively.
He ended 2019/20 with 221 points, trailing team-mate Mohamed Salah (£12.0m) by just 12 points.
That has led to a rise in cost from £11.5m to £12.0m, the same as the Egyptian.
When selected, Mane was involved in 42 per cent of his side’s goals last season, almost identical to the 43 per cent of Salah.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (LIV) £7.5m
Meanwhile, Mane's team-mate Alexander-Arnold comes in at £7.5m – up from £7.0m in 2019/20.
The Reds’ right-back finished as the top-scoring defender in the game with a total of 210 points.
Alexander-Arnold’s ability to deliver at both ends of the pitch helped him combine four goals and 15 assists with 14 clean sheets.
His 87 chances created last season placed fourth overall in FPL and was a team-leading total for the champions.
Timo Werner (CHE) £9.5m
Chelsea’s new forward has been handed a £9.5m price tag after a prolific season in the Bundesliga.
The 24-year-old scored 28 goals and supplied eight assists in the Bundesliga in 2019/20.
Werner is expected to occupy the lone striker role ahead of Olivier Giroud (£7.0m) and Tammy Abraham (£7.5m).
He could also be on penalties for the Blues following Willian's move to Arsenal.
Danny Ings (SOU) £8.5m
Managers will need to pay £8.5m for Danny Ings at the start of 2020/21.
The Southampton striker scored 22 goals and finished runner-up for the Golden Boot last season.
Although he has risen £2.5m from the start of 2019/20, Ings can still be worth the extra outlay. He ended as the third top-scoring forward in FPL, tallying 198 points.
