There are a number of features on the Fantasy Premier League website and the Premier League app to help managers make their weekly decisions.
FDR tab
The Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR) provides an immediate view for managers of the potential difficulty of future fixtures for their present or targeted players.
You can access it on the web by going to the Fixtures tab and clicking on "FDR" or via the main menu of the app.
ICT Index
You can now view the ICT Index scores for 2022/23 on any player information screen accessed via the 'I' icons next to each player profile in Fantasy.
The ICT Index uses match event data to generate a single score for three key areas – Influence, Creativity and Threat – with these figures combining to create an individual’s overall score.
It condenses more than 40 match event statistics into four distinct scores. These offer a view on player performance for factors that are known to produce FPL points.
The Index is also available within the dropdown as a filter on the Transfers page and in the tables under the Statistics tab.
Set-piece takers
You can now find out who is on the all-important penalties, free-kicks and corners for each of the 20 clubs.
On a web page, click on "The Scout" tab and "Set Pieces " while on the app go to the "Set Piece Takers" button on the main menu of the FPL section.
This is updated regularly so you can stay on top of which players might deliver extra points.
Team news
As each Gameweek deadline gets to within 24 hours, you will be able to see the latest team news from the clubs by clicking on the "Team News" tab on web or via the app on the main menu.
Podcast
Each Wednesday the Official Fantasy Premier League podcast provides managers with useful tips ahead of their team selections. It can now be easily accessed by clicking the "Podcast" tab across the top of the FPL site and "Official FPL Podcast" on the main menu of the app.
